Careprost Plus Eye Drop is a combination medication used to treat intraocular pressure (IOP) in patients with glaucoma or ocular hypertension. This contains two active ingredients: bimatoprost and timolol. Bimatoprost is a prostaglandin analog, while timolol is a beta-blocker. It is typically prescribed to lower the pressure inside the eye, thus reducing the risk of vision loss associated with these conditions. These drops are indicated for the reduction of elevated intraocular pressure in patients with open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension who are insufficiently responsive to monotherapy with other intraocular pressure-lowering medications. Careprost Plus Eye Drop works by reducing the production of aqueous humor, further lowering intraocular pressure.
